It’s a silicone cooking tool designed to save time when boiling, blanching or steaming food. Simply put food into the pod, then immerse in water to cook. When done, lift and drain. Ta-da!

If I had one, I’d probably use this to boil potatoes and eggs. No more fishing them out of the water and getting scalded.

“Cute” and “crazy” are relative, so you go judge which one of these items are full of charm or are just plain kooky. These are some thingamajigs that caught my eye while surfing the net. They’re all amusing to me!

An all-in-one touch of the ’20s for your kitchen. This looks like it’s great for compact apartments. The Electrochef: All-in-One Vintage Kitchen Appliance Set features a 4-burner stove, an accessible-height oven and some storage space. I consider it retro cute! (via)

Not for those who fear deep waters. Pop in some tea leaves into this infuser and watch the water color. Suggested tea: rooibos or red tea, what else? (via)

Eggstatic about this spatula! Eggcelent! Eggciting! Eggxaggerated is how I’d use to describe how I have reacted to this cute thing. But you know it’s amusing, right? (via)

Get nostalgic whenever you look at the time. Remember the bright red Viewmaster? Ah, memories. This Vintage Viewmaster Clock reminds you of the time… and how old you are. I’m sure some of you can’t relate. Tsk, generation gaps. (via)

Bookworms will never get out of this chair. It’s a chair! It’s a bookshelf! It’s a Bookseat! All I need is a table for my cup of tea and bowl of popcorn, and yep, I’m good for the weekend. (via)

Knives on your walls could only mean one thing… they’re towel holders! It’s like bringing in some Mr. & Mrs. Smith angry love into your kitchen. (via)

Want to feel indulgent even when at the can? Then all you need is 3-ply Money Toilet Paper to clean up your act. (via)

All the color your kitchen will ever need. ’50s-style, kinda kitschy… I LOVE this ref! It makes me want to don a frilly apron everytime I’d be in the kitchen and bake a cake. (via)

Feel like Alice in Wonderland or a giant tea bag. Cute and quaint, this Tea Cup Stool is great for those who love the children’s story. Spinning is optional. (via)

If I jump on the mat, do I still need to turn the knob? Enter Doormat made from recycled rubber. I wonder if it come in the Esc key too. (via)

Weird but true. The pretty yellow-white lights made me smile more and brought warmth to our little home. Some nights I watch TV, the living room lit only by the glow of the television set and the dotted white lights. It’s so cozy!

I simply used 5 transparent hooks with back-to-back tape, stuck them to the wall and let my the lights dangle. I wanted to put two strings of fairy lights, but one string looked much simpler and tidier. I realize this can get addicting though. Because I had an extra string of fairy lights, I wanted to hang some in my kitchen! I’m still contemplating whether I should do that or not. Hmmm.

The lights were initially set up as part of my pre-Christmas decorating, but I think I’ll leave this fairy lights hanging even after the holidays. Who says fairy lights are just for Christmas after all?

Trick or treat! Trick or treat! Give me something good to eat! Not all these can be eaten, but here are cute stuff to get you into the Halloween groove. They’re random stuff I found on the net when I was on a trick-or-treating mood. Of the things in the list, what are three things you’d use to Halloweenify your home?

1. Halloween Pancake Molds
Start the day with some ghoulish delights! Ooh, why not drizzle some strawberry syrup on it too for a bloody effect? (via)

It not only looks strange, but it acts strange too! This knocker has a motion senser. Once it detects a motion within a certain distance, the arm begins knocking on the door. It sounds like a surefire way to make the trick-or-treaters (or the mailman) squeal. (via)

“Honey, could you grab me a slice of pizza please?” “Sure thing, sweeth….AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!” *runs away* Makes for a good gag. (via)

The door knob pillow, pincushion and note cards — these lovely creations were all made by the very creative and giving Odette. She surprised me with these presents a few months ago. Aren’t they so pretty? Check out the details of that hand-stitched pincushion! Lovely, lovely. The moment my eyes fell on these creations, I immediately knew she poured her heart out into these. These were definitely made with love. Love crafts, they should be called.
