What’s in Mommy’s bag?
Going out with the toddler always involves a juggle of bags. There’s his Lightning McQueen backpack, which holds his extra clothes, some toys, wipes and diapers. There’s his Lego lunchbox, which holds his water, milk and snacks. Then there’s the Mommy bag — MY bag, which is more like a baby bag. I emptied out the contents of my Mommy bag just to see how much of it is Timmy’s:

It’s a baby bag with some of Mommy’s stuff, that’s what! I whip out the sketchpad and the stickers when we’re at restaurants. It keeps him occupied for a few minutes. When the stickers are no longer entertaining, out come the crayons one by one. I don’t give him the whole box because he empties it on the restaurant table, causing a huge mess. The toys are obviously for entertainment, the cloth diaper for wiping sweat, drool or food from his face, the bib a back-up to the others in his baby bag, the lotion acting like first aid for his sensitive skin.
The stash of M&M’s keeps me sane. I never leave home without chocolate.
The baby has dominated my bag. I’m fine with that. But I’m not sharing my M&M’s!

i used to carry this huge bag (that i asked from my brother as a birthday gift) when my youngest was still a baby until she was a toddler. hahaha! sabi nga ng mommy at mga kapatid ko eh, dala ko na daw ang buong bahay namin. hahaha!

Aside from those in your bag, I also started putting a fan in my bag when my kids were babies. They’re bigger now but I still have pens and the iPad in my bag to keep them entertained when there’s a lot of waiting to be done (like in airports or doctors’ clinics). I have my stash of chocolates too

i have scoliosis so i keep my bag in bare minimum. now he’s 3 its a 60-40 ratio in my bag. I keep some non essentials in a bag that i leave inside the car. Wipes, extra brief/diaper, lampin for sweat, a pack of skyflakes, a small spray bottle of alcohol, my wallet, 2 phones, comb, 2 toys, a pen and hair elastics.
i put powder on before i leave the house. no retouch
