I think I tried almost all of the carry types except for the one where you carry the baby on your back. I didn't have trouble using it. And my baby loved riding it all the time. I even used it as a duyan substitute (back when she was lighter and smaller). Good luck on your shopping! I'm going myself and am too excited already to find good stuff for my baby.
