38 Weeks and a Bunch of Links
Why hello there! Yes, I’m still very much pregnant. 38 weeks today, weee! Timmy is fantastic, I have been feeling great except for some pelvic soreness. We make a great team, Timmy & I. Now if only he’d lock into position. That’s where more walking comes in. So I’m lacing up those shoes and making more rounds around the village. Hopefully Timmy will be celebrating his birthday within the next week and a half!
Happy links and happy thoughts. Work still keeps me occupied, which is helpful in fighting getting impatient with Timmy’s arrival. And here’s a bunch of stuff that have been keeping me amused.

How long should you keep food in your pantry? Looks like my refrigerator and cupboards need some clearing out.
My Dad’s on a juicer kick. Everyday makes for a healthy experiment, but I wasn’t too fond of the tomato carrot juice. Maybe he’ll get yummier ideas here.

Does anyone know where I can get a nursing pillow? I’ve been looking at Mom-baby stuff online, and I think I need this. I saw one at Baby Company but it cost P4,000. Sheesh, too much.

good luck on the last few (hopefully) days of waiting! you can actually do without the nursing pillows, the nurses in the hospital here taught me how to use a normal pillow lang – while seated you put the pillow on your lap and let your arms rest on it while you breastfeed, while you put your feet up on phonebooks or a small stool. i’m excited for you!

Hey I’m not sure if the boppy is available there but that’s what I used the entire time I breastfed Connor. I think another popular one here is Mother’s Brest friend or something but I have no opinions on that one. Malapit na!! I had Connor at 38 weeks and 3 days.

Bought my nursing pillow in Baby Company in SM Megamall Department Store, almost P500 lang. Ask for the Disney brand, Mine has Winnie the Pooh printed on it. Meron din in SM Cubao and SM North Edsa. Advice if you plan to buy it yourself in SM Megamall, bring a fan, I don’t know why but the infant section super init!

I loved the boppy pillows in Asian but decided against buying one because it’s expensive. I use a regular bolster or “hotdog” pillow as my husband likes to call it. It works fine
