i wanted to cry too. ^-^
whenever kj is home, whether he’s in the computer or playing his ps games or watching the news or reading the paper, i would go to him countless times during the day and tell him, “ik wil een kusje”, dutch for “i want a kiss”. we can’t help but laugh every time. we even keep track of our “duizenden kusjes” or thousands of kisses goal for the year. before we go to sleep, we have our own ritual of “goodnights” and “see you in the mornings”, in dutch and english with kisses aplenty in between. every morning we ask each other before we get up, “did you sleep well?” and we talk about what we dreamed the night before. the most beautiful thing in the morning before we start our day, is cuddling for even a few minutes before the we rush into the chores and demands of the day. and that’s how our magic is renewed every day. ^-^
Awwww…. how CUTE and moving!
My husband and I try to go dates once a month whenever possible, we set a date which is our monthsary date to remind ourselves to indulge into something out of everyday routine. We don’t always celebrate it on the day of our monthsary but we try to go out close to the date or even after when things like work or some other things are on the way. I like it, we never did celebrate it before monthly when we were just BF-GF not till we got married.
Hahaha that is so cute! Thanks for sharing this, Toni
For me every day is magical because my husband makes me happy, he makes me laugh and together we are both silly in a fun, good way. Sometimes we say ‘akala mo mga nasa high school pa’ when we act all silly and giddy. The thing is we are both young at heart despite our ‘advanced’ age and that in itself makes our marriage a magical wonderful blessing to experience.
It’s that childlike heart that keeps us truly youthful ‘no?
such a cute video!!! it reminds of my husband hahaha (because he has his own way of saying “i love you”).
so how do we keep the magic alive in our marriage? coffee dates at least once a week, celebrating monthsaries or at least greet each other in honor of our day, we do childish stuff like hanging out at the park, going to the zoo, going to carnivals, play Wii or simply having quiet moments at home while we have coffee or wine in our balcony.
