High kick goes the baby

My belly is so big. I can fold my arms and rest them steadily on top of my belly comfortably. That’s what I was doing in the middle of a meeting this morning.

Arms folded, listening, nodding, when BAM! What was that? My body jerked forward a little bit, my arms quickly going to my side. There was a little high kicker in my tummy! Aww. I rubbed my belly gently.

Then I went back to listening, my arms folded again, resting on my tummy, when KICK! I felt it again.

It’s either Timmy’s going “Don’t go folding your arms on me!” or “You’re cramping me up in here, Mommy!” or “I support what your boss is saying!” Whatever that kick meant, it made my heart soar.

Today marks the strongest kick I’ve felt from Timmy so far. I can’t wait to experience more of these! Sure, his kicks will probably hurt (as I’ve been warned by my many Mommy friends!) but I’m looking forward to those too. High kick goes the baby, giddy smiles goes the Mommy!

When I was pregnant with my son, there were times he kicked so hard that I imagined he’d bruised my kidney. Sometimes he would even stretch and I could actually see my tummy going diagonal, hahaha! When he finally I came out, I enjoyed nipping on his tiny feet as payback for all the kicking he did.

Boys are stronger when it comes to moving about and kicking inside the tummy :) Sometimes it hurts but then again, you feel happy feeling the baby move inside :)

Yes! I’d prefer to feel all kinds of activity than none at all :D
