Cujo 18 of 52: Summer ‘do



Cujo got a haircut

That’s not a chihuahua, that’s Cujo! He got a haircut for the summer. Fuzzy wuzzy fur is cute, but not comfortable for some dogs during the dry season.

I wonder how chow chows do it! :)

    Oh he’s cute!

    Some dogs, like Chow Chow’s are actually built to where the fur keeps them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It’s like a built in insulation. We had a pom and she had some wild hair in the summer, we trimmed it back a bit, but she usually did pretty fine.
