How to keep ants away from honey

Ants are fierce where I live, and they sure love my honey. So I put my bottle of honey in a little water bath. The water keeps the ants away and there’s more honey for me! It’s simple and effective. Good thing there aren’t any bees. I wouldn’t know how to deal with that!

I remember doing this back in the province. We’d use this for all sorts of food and our implements were more primitive. A palanggana with water and lata turned upside down at its center onto which we’d place whatever.

That is a great idea. We used to do that to make sure the ants don’t reach their desired destination. Lol.

We have a huge problem with ants. They love dog food!
I have tried this but must admit that I get so grumpy that I get out the insect spray! So non-environmental but effective when you have had enough! Lol!
