I am thankful for sweet foggy messages
I am thankful for sweet foggy messages
for the toothpaste-glazed toothbrush right before bedtime
for the blanket that covers me when I fall asleep first
for the kiss on the forehead, the kiss on the nose.
I am thankful for holding hands while you drive
for bringing home chocolates, fruits and other surprises
for setting up my favorite shows on your laptop
for making me breakfast for dinner just as I like it.
I am thankful for you, this year and always,
for calling me just to say you miss me,
for making me laugh from my heart, from my belly,
for helping me hold on to childlike wonder.
I am thankful for your sweet foggy messages,
I am thankful for you, this year and always.
