Fairy lights go a long way
Fairy lights can make any home feel even more homey. I put in these fairy lights a couple of nights ago, and I’ve felt calmer. Weird but true. The pretty yellow-white lights made me smile more and brought warmth to our little home. Some nights I watch TV, the living room lit only by the glow of the television set and the dotted white lights. It’s so cozy!
I simply used 5 transparent hooks with back-to-back tape, stuck them to the wall and let my the lights dangle. I wanted to put two strings of fairy lights, but one string looked much simpler and tidier. I realize this can get addicting though. Because I had an extra string of fairy lights, I wanted to hang some in my kitchen! I’m still contemplating whether I should do that or not. Hmmm.
The lights were initially set up as part of my pre-Christmas decorating, but I think I’ll leave this fairy lights hanging even after the holidays. Who says fairy lights are just for Christmas after all?

That’s cute. After the holidays, it can still be used as light-accessories, buy a big rounded fish bowl and drop it all in, then decorate it near the sofa in your living room, instant lampshade.

Random lights are always nice. I used to keep luminous stars on the walls and ceiling atop my bed in our old house. So calming when the lights go out.
