When we dance, angels will run and hide their wings

A month ago, I asked my Plurk buddies, “What song would you like to slow-dance to with your special someone?” Their answers will make you go “awww.”

“All My Life”
“Thank You” by Led Zeppelin
“You to Me Are Everything”
“At Last” by Etta James
“When You Know” by Shawn Colvin
“Kapag Sinabi Ko Sa ‘Yo” by Gary Granada
“Love” by Michael Buble
“You Are My Special Angel” by Bobby Helms
“My One and Only Love” by Sting
“Someone to Watch Over Me” by Sting
“Apologize” by Timbaland
“The Way You Look Tonight”
“All I Want Is You” by U2
“When We Dance” by Sting
“Ordinary Love” MYMP cover
“Good Enough” by Sarah McLachlan
“I Will Show You Love” by Kevin Payne
“My Skin” by Natalie Merchant
“Lady in Red”
“When I Fall In Love” by Miles Davis
“Fix You” by Coldplay
“Best Friends” by The Perishers
“Sweet Thing” by Mary J. Blige
“Broken” by Lifehouse
“Space Between” by Dave Matthews
“Reasons To Love You” by Meiko
“Love Song” Tori Amos cover
“Every Little Thing” by Dishwalla
“Time of My Life”
“She’s Like the Wind” from “Dirty Dancing”
“Fields of Gold” by Eva Cassidy
“Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton
“Someone like you” by Van Morrison or Shawn Colvin (my absolute faaavorite)

Here’s the Shawn Colvin version:

Don’t you feel mushy just reading this list of songs? It’d be great to put them all together and file under a playlist labeled “Slow Dance” or as a mixtape when you want too woo someone. This is great for weddings too.

Thanks to Mitch, kaiskeebeat, CalvinHobbes, cafevida, Jayme, frannywanny, xtianne, valkyrieangie, FutureThinGuy, Lynn, morks, The Evil One, Sasha, PleadGuilty, promdiMom, xingkit and missyosigirl for sharing your answers. You Plurkers rock. :D
