Look who’s keeping me company
I’ve got a bunch of toys on my office desk, but this one’s my favorite.
Wall-E’s a speaker, and his eyes light to the beat of your music. At the press of a button, he can also say his name and do a couple of dances moves while playing his own music. He’s quite a treat to be with. Obviously, he watches me Plurk too.
I haven’t jazzed up my new office yet, but slowly I’m filling it with little things like this that make me smile. My Wall-E speaker was a surprise present from H, who does a pretty good impression of Wall-E’s voice.
Me: “I can do both at the same time!”
Wall-E: (droops those robot eyes) “Wall-E says please?”
Me: “Okay, okay.”

Ooooh I also have a Wall-E on my office desk. Kasing-laki nyan. But mine’s the U-Repair Wall-E. And we also have short conversations.

Haha! Was very nearly tempted to get one at the Rustan’s toys section last week. Hindi ba nakaka-conscious si Wall-E while you’re typing? Parang ang hirap magtrabaho when you have a pair of cute electronic eyes watching you all the time.

Waaaai! Cute! My dolls were begging me to buy them one (yeah, yeah, I’m nuts, I buy toys for my toys) but my wallet was crying, “No! No! Mercy! NOOOOOOOOO!”
