You write very well Toni! Mine’s not very uhm…pleasant. Okay its ugly.
You’re right, nothing beats writing the old style, pen or pencil on paper, very personal indeed!
Love your hand strokes, very girly.
Hmmmm…I write drafts but on microsoft na. This technology thing made me lazy to write using my hand. So as a result…my hand writing is not that good na.
Bilib ako sa ‘yo na you write drafts in Microsoft Word. Nahihirapan ako sa ganyan eh! Tapos minsan kasi I delete what I type only to remember that I needed those thoughts pala. Ngerr!!
wish i had your penmanship! so… so… pretty! and legible! well, that’s in contrast with mine, of course. but, yeah, i still enjoy writing on paper. and nothing beats a wooden pencil.
I also like writing especially when I’m not hastening or what… I agree with the first statement you said –”The feel of pencil(scribbling)” on paper. It’s as if you’re one with the pencil and paper..hahaha. OA. Anyway, I like pencils with just the right level of sharpness on it. Not too sharp but not too dull. Good writing (and sketching) pencils are Mongol #2(I think) and the Staedler pencil(though it’s a bit expensive). Again, with just the right level of sharpness..haha. Anyway, I’m amazed that we have the same penmanship!(Well, Almost almost almost.. get what I mean.. About 99.99 % with just 0.01% difference. Super!!) As if our handwriting are identical twins! LOL.hahaha
I know what you mean about being one with what you’re writing! Hindi OA sa akin yun. Gets na gets ko.
I prefer typing because I type faster than I write, but also because I have no patience to rewrite my notes so they are comprehensible. And because of this, my penmanship isn’t as beautiful as it used to because I lack practice. :p However, when I’m on the phone or in a meeting and I have to jot down notes, I use a pencil. I tend to use pencils more because you can easily erase the mistakes and therefore, makes the paper look neater or cleaner. :p
Hi Cat! How are you na? Have you read BD yet?
The funny thing with my writing with pencils, I seldom use the eraser. I just strike out the errors. Haha.
If I had your handwriting, I’d prefer writing by hand to typing too! :p
There are times when I wish I could buy a writing book like the ones they would make us do in the first and second grade, erase everything I know about writing, and start from the top, with the curly O’s and the alphabet in neat cursive…but sadly, I don’t have the time
I enjoyed those writing classes. I wanted to try calligraphy before but I didn’t have the patience for it!
Hi toni, yes, ganda ng handwriting mo, I agree. And I write by hand too, especially with snail mails. And i love to write in green, purple and especially black inks.
wow ganda ng handwriting mo! ako kahit na may computers na, i practice handwriting pa rin kasi i still keep diaries. hehe. same tyo dun sa 3rd pic mo. i also write my to dos” para hindi ko ma forget hehehe
i agree with you toni! i love writing and doodling as well, letters have a more special feel in someone’s handwriting..
i liked how you presented this entry
I love my handwriting. I keep on writing letters and mushy card notes to my boyfriend, hoping me loves me back NIce post, at last your readers get a peek of your handwriting;)
hand-writing letters is more personal pati, right! i love using fountain pens or thick point pens, they look so classy for scribbling.
belated happy birthday, girl! hope you had a blast! nice to be back here, sorry i’ve been quite busy lately, haven’t had much time to blog hop. regards and take care!
Ooh fountain pets! Tagal na kong di nakakagamit non! High school pa ata.
For work, i type a lot. but for notes during a mtg, i also use a Mongol pencil!!!
then, for personal plans, i have a planner that i write on (i dont have a digital planner nor diary) but, whatever is on my written planner, is aslo in my Nokia E61i calendar. With alarms in place :p
so i really better not forget anyhting :p
but all in all, i still prefer to write things down, just like you do
wow, you have such nice handwriting! but unlike you, i am not really fond of using pencils (unless i’m doing my sudoku). even if it’s just for note-taking or making drafts, i use a pen. a pilot g-1 tech pen at that. =)
I am such a dorkus Toni. I knew that you were switching to your own domain pero I never added it to my RSS feeds kaya I haven’t been here in awhile. I was wondering where you went. I even asked Tintin if she’s read your blog. hahaha… Anyway, I’m glad I found you again.
I’ve always admired your handwriting. I honestly think that you had one of the best penmanship in our school maski na cursive or print maganda pa rin! I can’t write nicely in cursive kaya puro print nalang. hahaha…
I’ll have to chat with you once I finish Breaking Dawn.
Haha! Hey at least we’re back in touch right? Yes, let’s talk after you’re done with BD!
Hey, I’m the same way! ) I love writing in colored ink especially in black and green. And I love using a pencil, too, although I prefer to use the mechanical type (I’m too lazy to sharpen pencils!) in 0.5 pt. And I write by hand for the exact same reasons as you do! )
There’s something wonderful about putting pen, or pencil, to paper and just letting your thoughts flow freely that the typed word can never duplicate.

Neat strokes. Hmmm, there’s a psyche there eh.
I love drafting through a black pen. But since I started working, my drafts are now usually through the computer/digital organizer.
This a refreshing post to start the week.
