Weekend Soiree #29: A game of comment interaction

The game is easy! I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! ;)

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is CITY, all questions should relate to that topic. What’s the best thing you love about living in the city? Do you think people in the city are friendlier than those in the countryside? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

Let’s stretch our arms and start our day right with the 29th weekend soiree!

The theme: BREAKFAST

My question for Person #1: You’ve been chosen to be part of a space program. Today is your last day on earth. Breakfast is to be your last meal. The program organizers say you can ask for any breakfast that you want, no limitations (you’ll be eating astro food for the next ten years). What would you have as your last breakfast on Earth?

i’m the first!!!! heehee. this has never happened before ;-)

A: i’d like a huge serving of eggs benedict with orange juice, strawberry yoghurt, chocolate pancakes in strawberry syrup and all the coffee i can drink. hehehehe. an eat-all-you-can certificate at breakfasts by antonio’s in tagaytay wouldn’t be amiss either.

Q: Would you like your hubby/wifey to serve you breakfast in bed? What would you like to have?

    caryns last blog post..blind paths

  2. kaoko Says:

Breakfast in bed would be so nice. I’d like something that’s easy to eat though as I wouldn’t want to mess the sheets up (drat, that throws tapsilog out the window!)

Maybe some crisp bacon, over-easy eggs, toast and fruit? Coffee of course too. Hmmm…but I think a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon would be just as welcome.

Q: Coffee, tea, milk or juice? What sort and why?

  3. Patricia Says:

I’ve always liked coffee. I’m a coffee aficionado. I liked brewed coffee but not too strong. The smell is great and I think it’s good for aroma theraphy. =P. It’s also healthy for us so I think coffee’s the best!

Q: What’s your favorite “breakfast show”[tv shows aired early in the morning]?

    Patricias last blog post..Grr

i can actually go about my day without eating breakfast and just having coffee. i know it’s not a very good practice and i get hyper-acidity because of skipping meals, i’m not sure why but often my tummy seems unable to accept solid food when i’m off for work (maybe it’s anxiety over work hehe). however when i’m at home with my folks, it’s a different story since they won’t allow me out of the house without a big breakfast of rice coupled with either eggs, bacon, sauteed tomatoes, hotdogs, danggit, tuyo or even last night’s dinner.

if there’s any breakfast food that you can eat for a month, what would it be?

    drunkenlilys last blog post..wordle

  8. witsandnuts Says:

I can have tuyo, sinangag and itlog for a month. =)

Q: What’s the song that you wish and don’t wish to hear while taking breakfast?

  9. ayen Says:

my current LSS is Half-Life by Duncan Sheik with the line “Come on, let’s fall in love” – so that would be my breakfast song.

Hmm, I don’t wish to hear any other mellow songs – I might go back to sleeping. hahaha!

Q: Are you a fan of the ‘silog’ meals? What would be your favorite?

ayens last blog post..Hula-Hula @ Westgate

  10. MarysMom Says:

A: Love silog meals and siempre the original- Tapsilog! (Tapa, sinangag and itlog, for those who are not familiar with these much-love Filipino combination breakfasts.)
Q: How much time after waking up do you eat breakfast?

    MarysMoms last blog post..Tagaytay

  11. Toni Says:

About 2-3 hours! I do the shower and prepare for work routine first before grabbing a bite for breakfast.

How do you like your breakfast eggs?

  12. arjel Says:

A: I like it sunny side up with the yolk half-cooked

Q: What do you usually do after having breakfast?

  13. Dr Emer Says:

Scrambled! With plenty of onions and garlic, a speckle of iodized salt, cooked with olive oil, with only two slices of tomatoes, and some cheese if possible.

Question: What is your idea of a healthy breakfast?

  14. Dr Emer Says:

    Ooops! Take 2!

I go to what I am programmed to do everytime — attempt to heal those who are in pain. =)

Q: Have you ever tried water therapy (drinking 4 glasses of water an hour before breakfast)?

    Mauie Floress last blog post..Self-assessment

  20. cbs Says:

unfortunately no. having only 1 hour between waking up to hitting the road for work, your method won’t be practical for me. if i did that, i may end up healthy but jobless – and the irony here is that i will just be drinking water all the time since i can’t afford to buy food anymore. uhm, yun ang talagang water therapy.

q: is there a food you like very much, but simply can’t have it for breakfast?

  21. Badet Says:

This isn’t food but I always like drinking Coke in my meals but breakfast is an exemption. If I can drink ice-cold Coke without triggering my hyperacidity early in the morning, that’s great!

Which do you prefer during weekends, a home-cooked breakfast prepared by yourself or eating breakfast at a fancy restaurant?

Badets last blog post..Want to get FREE Olay Total Effects sample?

  22. Cookie Says:

Home cooked all the way. Its the best time to bond with the family because we don’t have to be rushing off somewhere. We all love that there is no pressure and that we can look like we just got out of bed. But if a fancy restaurant can offer us those same privileges, why not :D

Question : Coffee, tea, milk, chocolate, juice? What is your preferred poison for breakfast?

    Cookies last blog post..Lucky Charm

  25. Dr Emer Says:

Scrambled! But because Manila is full of “anemic” waiters, I don’t get to see my wish come true often.

Q: There is a restaurant somewhere in the city called, “Blue Bacon and Green Eggs.” If that were true, that they serve nothing but delicious blue bacon and green eggs, would you eat there? Why or why not?

  26. Meeya Says:

doc emer, you know what, i got engaged there. over blue bacon, hehe! seryoso, after having dinner (of fish, actually) i had a diamond ring for dessert. :)

if its still open, i would definitely dine there again. :)

question: small breakfast or huge breakfast?
