Plurk plurk!

PhotobucketI sense an addiction coming up with Plurk. One, I love the name. It’s like a sound coming from a little animal or the sound of a marble dropping into a glass of orange juice. Plurk! Second, I love how interactive it is. You can easily respond to status updates and the comment-response thread is easy to follow. Third, I love how its laid out in a timeline. Fourth, I like the points system. The more Karma points you have, the more you get access to smileys and other features.

    I’ve never actively tried Twitter and now I think I never will. Except for the headless creature, I’m starting to love everything about Plurk. :D

    Waaaah! I heard about this from Noemi yesterday. I checked it last night. It’s blocked in UAE . It says, “We apologize the site you are attempting to visit has been blocked due to its content being inconsistent with the religious, cultural, political and moral values of the United Arab Emirates.” :(

    Glad you’re still thanking me kahit na I’m getting you addicted to something. :-D But, yes, I like it for some of the same reasons you mentioned. Threaded conversations & visuals, to me, really outdo Twitter & other similar services.
