Weekend Soiree 18: A game of comment interaction

Photobucket

The first rule is easy. I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! ;)

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is HEROES, all questions should relate to heroes. Do you want to travel through time like Hiro Nakamura? Which national hero would you like to have dinner with? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

The second rule is very neighborly. After you answer and write a question, visit the person who comments right BEFORE you. If that person does not have a blog, visit any of the commenters’ blogs. When you’re at their blog, leave a comment and some nice cheer. You might make a new friend!

Let’s get to know each other better with the 18th weekend soiree. This is also a part of Shai’s Tell Me About You Project.

The theme: GETTING TO KNOW YOU

My question for Person #1: How old were you when you had your first crush?

Q: How old were you when you had your first crush?

Oh my! The crush I can remember as my first was that guy who was in high school while I was in Grade 6. So that was when I was 11 years old? I can’t remember if I had any other crush before him.

i don’t have a particular favorite restaurant in manila, as i live in general santos city, but i like chinese food so i can say i have fond memories of the quaint restaurants in binondo. lately, husband and i ate at cafe mediterranean in MOA, and i must say the gorgonzola pizza was awesome!

q: what is it that you’re good at, when you feel like you’re in your best element?

odette’s last blog post..a dash of inspiration!

  4. J. Flores Says:

I’ve finally realized that the one thing I’m good at is baking. The world can end outside my window kitchen and I wouldn’t know it if I’m baking, because I involve all my senses in it. Cooking is my home, and I’m glad I can come “home” every time I take out the sugarand flour (and eggs, and milk, and chocolate…) :)

  17. odette Says:

yes jet, i do love the rain, walking in the rain, and even walking barefoot in the rain, especially if i’m on our farm here in mindanao. but i hated the rain when i was working in manila, i hated the flooded streets, i gag at the stench of the overflowing drainage, the difficulty of catching a ride home, and when i can’t sleep because i miss home so much when it rains. ;-)

Q: do certain scents make you nostalgic of the past? like a feeling of dejavu? or what kind of things never fail to bring a special memory to you?

Q: Who are your favorite authors and what’s your favorite book?

  26. Nicola Says:

I can’t remember… but probably around 8 or 9, I went through phases of liking each of the boys around my age or a little older that were sons of my parents friends. And I remember lusting (is that possible when you’re so young?!) after a boy for most of the latter primary school years, when I would have been 10-11.

My question…. What is your favourite season and why? I love winter, maybe because I’m a winter baby, but everyone else seems to love summer and spends the rest of the year complaining that the weather is crap, I’m the total opposite, anyone else out there different too?

    Do you bite your nails?
