Weekend Soiree #13: A game of comment interaction

I'm dreaming of a white picket fence...

The rules are easy. I will ask a question. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next next person to answer. I am sure you get it! ;)

To make things more fun, the questions have to reflect the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is VIDEO GAMES, all questions should relate to gaming. What video game has recently kept you up all night? How bad has your video game addiction gone? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

Why don’t we cross our fingers for the thirteenth weekend soiree?

The theme: DREAMS

My question for Person #1: Did you ever dream of getting that white picket fence for your home?

  1. Em Dy Says:

No. But I dreamt about a house below ground and only the door is visible above ground. On entry, one descends a flight of steps which emit a sound with each step much like when a piano key is stroked.

Last night, I dreamt of going to a market in a foreign land and telling my sister not to buy souvenirs yet. What was your last dream about?

  2. nina Says:

I had a dream last night but it’s one of those dreams that is not clear and confusing. I always have this kind of dream and when I woke up I simply can’t remember the details. What I remember is that it’s all about my niece.

Have you ever dreamt about people who passed away long time ago? When this happens, do think they are visiting through dreams?

  3. MarysMom Says:

My paternal grandmother sometimes show up in my dreams, she’s passed on at least 10 years ago. I do not think she is visiting me through my dreams, but more like, she is one of the cherished people in my life and hacing her in my dream makes it comfortable for me to learn whatever it is my dream is trying to teach me.
Do you keep a dream diary?

  4. JMom Says:

No, not a dream diary specifically, but my dreams become integrated in my regular diary if they are memorable enough.

Do you have a recurring dream? What is it about?

  5. nina Says:

I used to. When I was still single, I always dream that I’m getting married and I am crying or sad because I don’t want to get married. In all those dreams, I am marrying somebody I do not know and sometimes the groom has no face or I can’t even remember his face when I wake up. It’s not always the same dream but it’s always about getting married and not wanting to. Sometimes, the setting is church or just a wedding preparation. I really do not know if it has a meaning (any dream interpreter here?). I am happily married now. and the “wedding” dream has stopped already. I think I’m beginning to have another recurring dream but at this point, I wouldn’t consider it recurring.

Do you have dreams that came true?

  6. hazel Says:

I dreamed of having a good job, my own family, my own house, my own car, etc. Slowly they’re all coming true. I love my work, I now have a wonderful husband and a very beautiful daughter. We’re hoping for the house to come this year and the car to follow soon.

Have you ever dreamed of something, believed in your heart you’ll get it, but became sorely disappointed? What is it? How did you cope?

  7. wendy Says:

yep. its about having the job i want but unfortunately i didnt get it. I just tried to apply to another company and finally got it! yes!

did you experience having a dream and then later on landed into that same situation?

  8. Meeya Says:

lots of times. whenever i have dreams so vivid, i just know that they’ll come true in one way or another.

question: do you dream in black and white, or colored?

  9. Toni Says:

    Colored. :D

    Who is your personal McDreamy?
