Hmm.. pwede na rin. Although I think Carlisle looks a bit old in that picture. hahaha.. I also thought that Emmett should look like a football player. Wasn’t he supposed to be big?

Hi everyone! Here are my personal views on the casting:
Emmett: I think he’s perfect looks-wise. I imagined him to be really huge and bulky. Like a BEAR, right?
I was thinking of someone like Colossus from X-Men, as suggested in Meyer’s website. Maybe Kellan Lutz will bulk up? I hope so!
Rosalie: She’s the one I like LEAST casting-wise. Okay, I love her hair. That’s it. But I imagined her to look more fair, fragile and like a fashion model. Nikki Reed looks feisty. Even if Rosalie has her feisty moments, it’s all immediately forgivable because she doesn’t LOOK feisty. Ah well.
Esme: My favorite of all those cast. Absolutely spot on. Elizabeth Reaser looks lovingly motherly and young, very compassionate.
Edward: I like what they did with Robert Pattinson’s hair. Edward does have some red in his hair, right? And it looks like Robert’s practicing that “Do I dazzle you?” gaze. Yowza. I LOVE what he’s wearing. That’s totally what I had pictured as Edward’s clothes, per the descriptions in the book.
Carlisle: Hmmm. I have mixed feelings about Carlisle now. BEFORE Peter Facinelli was dyed blond, I thought he’d be perfect. Now that he’s blonde, there’s something different and un-Carlisle. Maybe because Carlisle in my head was warm and kind looks-wise, and Carlisle here looks like a bad boy. Just my thoughts. But he does have that old era movie star look going for him which I like.
Alice: She’s cute! I thought her hair would be shorter and spikier, but this works too. I like how pixie-ish she looks. Ashley Greene is cute!
Jasper: Okay. I’m not too hot about the hair, but that’s just me. My main gripe with Jasper is that he doesn’t look army-ish. I won’t say why, but read Eclipse to know what I mean. Anyway, I like that Jackson Rathborne’s can look like he can put you at ease, the way Jasper can.
That’s it. Overall, I’m super excited about the casting. All my comments are just based on looks, but you know how looks aren’t everything! Once those actors start talking and being the Cullen they were meant to play, they could simply blow us away and make us think, “Oh yeah. Perfection.”
Let’s see.

gaaad, i’m just reading eclipse now kasi sobrang busy. pero i’m so, so, so excited to finish it na. i’m so excited din sa movie. i’m starting to love jacob na, but i’ll forever love edward. hehe. basta!!!!! i’m feeling all giddy. i hope they hurry up and finish the movie! hehe.
i agree with you bwt rosalie, tones. i was thinking they would cast someone who would look like a fashion model. oh well…

Alice looks just like I imagined her to. That was my first thought. I kinda expect her to have a cutesy voice to match though. Hope that’s the case! I’m holding my opinions of the others for the time being. When the movie comes out, I’ll decide if I like them then!

i thought emmett’s like more bulky? jasper’s hair’s a bit weird haha. well, at least to me. i think the alice is really quite suitable. i expected shorter hair though. but then rosalie doesnt look like rosalie though, i thpught she’s gonna look like a gisele bundchen or heidi klum or somewhere along those lines. AND althoguh i think robert pattinson’s good looking but i seriously think that GASPARD ULLIEL is like the PERFECT 101% perfect for the role of edward instead. but then again, looks are not everything so oh wells, i hope they have like awesome acting skills so we can all truely believe they are the cullen family! ahha esme’s perfect for the role though!
