Michael Welch will be playing Mike Newton in the Twilight movie. According to his website, he’s “looking forward to having fun with his character.” His character is one of my favorite ones from the Twilight series!

Mike Newton is the all-around nice guy at Forks High School. He also immediately crushes on Bella on her first day, and casually expresses his fondness for Bella over the course of the series. Of course, Bella only has eyes for Edward. Sorry, Mike!

I can’t wait to see who else is in the cast!
