Twilight movie news: Cam Gigandet has been cast to play the villain vampire James.

Isn’t James supposed to be really vile and ugly? Cam Gigandet is hot, hot, hot! :P Anyway, I’m not complaining.

    I don’t think James is supposed to be vile and ugly physically. I think he’s supposed to be a vile creature and ugly inside. All vampires are supposed to be gorgeous. Hehe.

    Ah, I recall him being described in Twilight to be not good-looking. :) That’s how unattractive he was as a human! To be ugly even as a vampire? Ah, poor James. But of course, a hunk of an actor was cast for this. I’m not complaining! But it sure does veer away from the book.

    James isn’t described as ugly–just less beautiful than the Cullens. He’s still going to be above and beyond any regular human. I think Cam is a great choice. He can pull off evil really well.

    So are the vampires all normal looking and then become beautiful as a vampire, or do they all choose only beautiful people to turn into a vampire?

    Anyway, this guy sure is eye candy.

    Stephenie Meyers said that vampires are usually drawn to beautiful humans, and when these beautiful humans become vampires, their beauty becomes even more intense. :)

    I think Cam is a hottie for the cast role play of James, the villian vampire. He adds a little spice to the look. I hope he can pull it off good, since he is the bad guy in the story. I can’t wait for the movie to come out!!!!! URGH!

    I can’t wait to see how he pulls it off too!

    i think he would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better being Edward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like almost 100% what i imagined Edward to look like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    haha. actually, i think he suits the role of james quite well, its a great thing they chose someone like him. i think he’ll be able to pull it of well although james was described as not very good looking in the book but oh well. but doesnt he look a bit like colin farrell?

    I did read in the book that James was rather ordinary looking. Meaning he must have been an ugly human, given the whole transformation-beautification thingie.
