Vanilla Ice Cream on a Tollhouse cookie with lots of hot fudge -- heaven!!!

Vanilla ice cream on a Tollhouse cookie with lots of hot fudge — heaven!!! Just reliving sweet memories of my favorite dessert from Long Beach’s Parker Lighthouse.

In other news:
- I am putting together the If Books Were Food round-up. Life has been crazy, but you’ll see it in a bit.
- I am serious about losing weight. I just have to find the perfect gym. Fitness First just doesn’t cut it with me anymore — too many people. *shivers* I used to work out at this little gym once upon a time but it no longer stands. Oh well. I will be on the lookout for something like that.
- But when I saw the dinuguan and puto at my grandma’s party yesterday, I couldn’t resist. All plans of eating healthily go away when a bowl of delicious Filipino merienda is presented to you.
- Some relatives came home from the U.S. and they brought me Swiffer refills. W00t!
- Did you know that scientists invented an onion that doesn’t make you tear up? Read it on Yahoo news. I don’t like the idea. Don’t mess with my onions!
- I’m hungry. If you’re eating right now, as in right now while you’re reading this, are you willing to share what you’re feasting on?
