Perhaps crazy is relative, but you gotta admit that you’d want to check out these thingamajigs, yes? This is not a paid post, just a collection of cooky pieces I find really amusing!
The Banana Guard

Because it’s always best to be protected. Believe me, bananas that get squished by sandwiches and drinks in a lunch box isn’t a pretty sight. [

Clocky

Remember that kid who taunted you and ran away from you when you chased him? This alarm clock is sort of like that. It jolts you from your sleep and allows you no snooze-button time. Perhaps chasing it around your room can make for morning exercise too. [
via]
Throwzini’s Knife Block

For frustrated circus knife throwers everywhere. It even spins! Poor little red guy. [
via]
Nose Pencil Sharpener

The only time kids are allowed to pick noses in public. Warning: Sharpening pencils will trump doing homework. Then again anything trumps doing homework. [
via]
Arty Party Paper Plates

For every kid who wants to play with their food. Time to take out the mayo, mustard and ketchup! Arm the kids with fries or carrot sticks. And I wonder if this comes with a beret. [
via]
Heart Shaped Teacup

Wake up to a lovely Valentine’s Day morning with tea. No need for sugar. This quaint teacup fills up the sweetness quotient of your day. [
via]
Onion Holder

Because onions don’t only make you cry, they stubbornly roll away too. [
via]
Din-Ink

So ideas don’t get lost during mealtimes. Just make sure there’s no soup in your spoon before you excitedly jot down our ideas on your placemat. [
via]
Daisy Egg Molder

Because round eggs are boring. [
via]
Banana Slicer

And finally, because we started with bananas, let’s end with bananas. Perfect for those who are impatient with their fruit. [

Pretend you can take one of these items home. Which one would you go for and why?

Toni, these are amazing! I WANT THEM ALL!!
I especially *heart* the onion holder, the clocky, and the daisy egg mold.
If ever you decide to order, count me in for one of whatever you’re ordering para tipid tayo sa shipping. Hehehehe.
January 29th, 2008 at 12:24 pm

January 29th, 2008 at 5:16 pm
I love the clocky! It will force me to finally wake up and no more “five minutes na lang!” from me and hubby
January 29th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
i’d take home the heart-shaped teacup =) syempre ako pa, coffee lover na, green tea lover din hehehe.
…pwedeng isa pa? yung banana guard! para pagdating ko sa office hindi mukhang nabugbog ang baon kong banana =)
January 29th, 2008 at 7:10 pm
Omg! My brother actually has one of those banana guards and raves over it! He thinks it’s fantastic and swears that every banana fits it! Sad, but true!!
January 29th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
i love the daisy egg molder and the banana slicer and heartie teacup! prettiness!
January 29th, 2008 at 8:41 pm
my colleague got one of those banana guards from Japan…I therefore conclude, makikita natin yang mga yan sa stores selling Japanese stuff. We have Daiso here where everything is for $2. ALl from Japan. Winner!
January 29th, 2008 at 10:53 pm
Hehe. Funny. Probably will get the banana protector, cause we buy plenty of bananas and pack em in the kids’ bags often.
January 30th, 2008 at 12:27 am
i like the knife block, the clock and the onion holder.
do you have all of these in your kitchen?
January 30th, 2008 at 2:03 am
Hi Toni! It’s a toss-up between the knife block and the heart-shaped cup for me
Must be because sticking my knives near the poor little red guy satisfies some of my “sadistic tendencies” (*joke*)… Also, who wouldn’t want to wake up to a hearty (literally) cup of coffee, right?
January 30th, 2008 at 2:12 am
oh i’d take home all of them!
but if i only had to choose one, it would be the knife block, which i think is a popular choice here. hahaha!
January 30th, 2008 at 4:39 am
the banana guard. then, i’d slather the banana with peanut butter. that way, i don’ have to bring the jar with me.
January 30th, 2008 at 6:38 am
how cute….would like the banana protector for my daughter’s baon – that way she has no reason in bringing it back home uneaten.
January 30th, 2008 at 6:53 am
I would go for the heart-shaped teacup, especially now that I am into Soy Chai.
January 30th, 2008 at 9:06 am
panalo yung hear-shaped teacup! me likey for 14th!
heehee… but as for my personal gadget, i’d love the knife block. it could kick-off my other career!
January 30th, 2008 at 11:10 am
Throwzini Knife Block…it has a voodoo feel to it
I also like the Nose Pencil Sharpener. I’m sure I’ll be laughing my ass off whenever I need to sharpen my pencils.
The Onion Holder is perfect for me since I always manage to shave off part of my thumb when cutting onions
BTW, nakita ko lang sa tv the other day, may Onion Goggles na din
January 30th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
I want the nose pencil sharpener but I will use it to sharpen my eyeliner. Pwd kaya? ehehe
January 30th, 2008 at 12:47 pm
hands down yung knife block. pantanggal ng agression hahaha! at yung nose sharpener, ninna will get a kick out of that.

January 30th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
I nearly bought a banana guard last week…. life a whimsy isnt it? I take that knife holder… pang stress reliever lang hoho
January 30th, 2008 at 8:07 pm
I think that knife block would be an interesting piece in the kitchen. It might go well with my husband’s set of knives.
January 30th, 2008 at 8:50 pm
I liked the onion holder. Not only do my onions roll away, they end up sliced unevenly or slanted. I think whoever invented the banana slicer is too lazy!
January 30th, 2008 at 8:52 pm
The heart shaped teacup … and if I can still add since I am greedy … the daisy egg thingie and the banana slicer …
January 30th, 2008 at 8:53 pm
The heart shaped teacup … and if I can still add since I am greedy … the daisy egg thingie and the banana slicer …
January 30th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
the runaway alarm clock! It’ll help me avoid oversleeping!
And the banana guard is a good idea too. I wonder if a differently angled banana can fit.
January 31st, 2008 at 12:14 pm
woot ^_^ i love the clocky!! i’ll be needing that since im having a hard time in getting up in the morning.
February 2nd, 2008 at 4:00 pm
The Throwzini
February 20th, 2008 at 12:53 pm
I go for the Onion Holder, because I never get to chop onions right.
(What? You think I’d go for the Banana Guard? hihihi)
June 12th, 2008 at 7:04 am
I’d get the clocky and give it to my teenage son. It’s so hard to wake him up in the morning. This might do the trick.
June 21st, 2008 at 2:28 am
I love the alarm clock! How funny. I think I’ll get one of those so I can get up on time to work on my Production Music Library website.
June 27th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
If I could take one thing home, it would have to be the Teacup. I’m a hopeless romantic, and it’s crap like that (and sappy movies) that make me pathetic, and all too “cute” in girls eyes.
July 2nd, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Only death would come to the clock that evades me….Garfield is my guru.
