My First Crush
Here’s a lovely animated film on YouTube. According to the film’s creator, Julia Pott, it is based on interviews about first crushes. I love her treatment! The storytelling is fascinating, the animation magical and the music keeps the video playful and nostalgic. It will also make you wonder about that first crush of yours. 
That last line was the sweetest, wasn’t it? Thanks to my sister for the lead on this video.
My first crush was a boy named Russ. I was in kindergarten. He sat across me during class and had the biggest crush on a girl from another class, a girl named Gina. It fascinated me how hooked he was on her, and how she ignored him. He’d literally chase her. I just watched from the sidelines. I tried to get his attention once but he just ignored me. It was a bit sad, but I moved on quickly. I wonder where he is now though!

My first guy was our neighbor, ten years my senior. I admired him because of his smile and friendly nature. He was a friend of my dad and I would be ecstatic whenever he came over.

omg, my first crush was in kindergarten too! we were 5, his name was vidan and he liked this girl elaine. i remember being secretly irked at her ’cause she sat with crossed legs all the time, all along i thought it was a sign of flirtation/pang-maarte. i can’t remember how my affection ended though, it was so fleeting, hahaa.

i asked my husband if he remembers his first crush and he doesn’t! it gave me this teeniest sad feeling because i don’t know how people can ever forget their first crush, it’s the first time you felt something, whatever it may be, for someone, that’s not easily forgettable diba?

wow! i can’t remember my first crush anymore. what i do remember, though, ay yung mga guys na sobrang nagka-crush ako, as in kinahumalingan.
there was this classmate of mine in high school, named carlo, whom i had a huge crush on. nalaman ko meron isang girl from a lower level na may crush din sa kanya na maglalakas loob daw to ask him on a date! malandi! ginawa namin nung friend ko we stalked the girl at tinaray-tarayan the whole afternoon!

oh am still in touch with my first crush we were together from kindergarten till 3rd year high school.
but i just noticed him when we were grade 2. i dont think he noticed me but rather my best friend but all girls liked him.tall brainy

my first crush was a boy from the other section. i was in grade 1, morning class section. in the school i attended, girls are separated from boys. co-ed classes hardly come by.
i came to notice him when he was “punished” for being talkative. he was sent by his teacher to stand in the corner in the girls’ section, which happened to be my classroom. cute boy with a mischievous smile.

My first crush was a guy named YANSI. He was a neighbor and we would play as kids. He gave me my first valentine card but my big sis cut it into small pieces. I think she was a bit jealous since I was only 7 and Yansi was 9.
He was also my first kiss but it was on the cheeks. He was also the first to propose to me since we were both chinese and his Dad wanted to arrange to have us marry each other when we become 18. I was 7 then and he was 9. He agreed to it but my Mom didn’t.
I wonder what would have happened if the contract was sealed?

I don’t think I had any crushes on anyone until I was a teenager. One that comes to mind was with a guy from our “brother” school, who I only saw once but I can still remember that one moment. Oh, I also know his full name— Amador Buenaseda III, Notre Dame, Class of ’81. Anybody know where he’s at?

my first crush was alfredo lopez jr. he was my classmate nung kinder. (o diba kumpleto? haha!) i think my teacher knew i had a crush on him kasi ginawa niya kaming loveteam, hehe. anyway, i don’t know where he is now but i’d be interested to find out what ever became of him.
