i had trouble finishing maguire’s confessions of an ugly stepsister, too. i think i was too jaded by my child-mind’s version of cinderella so i was fighting the “distorted” images he was drawing up in the book, hehe. anyway, i’ve been wanting to watch Wicked (the stage production) for the longest time, but have not had the chance. *sigh*

i’ll keep an eye out for the book thief next time i’m at the bookstore. thanks toni!

Ang sarap ng long vacation. I still don’t feel like going to work tomorrow.

Anyway, read that in Yummy Magazine. I like their issue for this month. Loads of chocolate cakes.

I love this issue too! I want to make the Blueberry Banana muffins with the cookie crusts. Sounds promising! I just hope mine turn out as pretty as the ones in the pic.

weeee! ako rin, nakapagpahinga na kahit paano! saya-saya! i’m reading my gabriel garcia marquez books again.:)

matagal ko nang gusto mabasa ‘yang “the book thief” kasi i saw it once sa isang bookstore.

Maganda sya! I’ve stopped reading it for a few days to “breathe” awhile. Gusto ko ma-miss ko muna bago ko basahin ulit. Weird ba?

You did a lot during your holidays. I think if I’d have a list – it will be (1) sleep, (2) sleep, and (3) sleep. I’ve been busy due to our annual fall board meeting and been sleeping in hotels. I miss my own bed right now. I’m going home tonight though. I think I’ll crash right after I’ll get off the train.

Nothing like crashing into your own bed after a long trip.
