You comment, iReply!

“A new comment? Yey!” Yup, I’m a sucker for comments. Sometimes I clap and do a little happy dance when a new comment arrives. What, you don’t believe me? Ask my husband! Fortunately he’s gotten used to it.

Why the clapping and dancing? I just love the interaction! Now replying to comments is a wonderful thing too. I always make time to read through each and everyone of them. Thank you so much for making the time to share your thoughts! The only problem with replying is that my e-mail address gets marked as spam sometimes, and I end up as canned spam in your inbox. I’ve written a similar entry a few weeks ago.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketVia Grow Your Writing Business, I learned that a couple of bloggers had this great idea of encouraging communication between bloggers and their readers — the iReply Revolution.

Sure, some of us already respond to comments. That’s fantastic! You’re already part of the revolution without you knowing it. Each of us have our own styles – we reply within the comments section or through e-mail. What I like about the iReply Revolution idea is that it has a badge you can put on your site that shows readers that you do read their comments and that you do reply. It encourages interaction and more connection. Who wouldn’t want that?

You can download the logo here, but please do save to your own choice of photo hosting service. Then post the badge onto your blog.

Now to get back to my inbox. I’ve got my hot milk tea on my left, my adobo pandesal right beside it, and some free time before work kicks in. It’s iReply time.

I’m with you on this Toni! Will download the badge and apply to my site when I get home. Like you, I take the time to read and reply to comments because I think that’s what blogs should be, a forum for discussion. It would be nice if more blogs do that.

Hi Toni. I really appreciate how you take time to reply to my comments through e-mail. I really admire this personal approach of yours.

I usually reply via my comment box but as much as possible I also return the visit of friends.

Yvonne is my friend too and I agree with this wonderful concept. Thanks for helping to spread the word. I shall add it to my sidebar soon.
