An Interview Tag
Before I answer Karla’s interview, I’d like to give a shoutout to all those who’ve submitted their Lasang Pinoy 18 entries. THANK YOUUUUUU! I’ll post the round-up before the weekend comes along. Are you as excited as I am?!
This is an interview tag, so if you’d like me to interview you, just read the instructions that follow the 5 questions. Karla asks…
1. If you were to have your own TV show, how would you like to call it? Wifely Steps.
2. What is your favorite restaurant? My favorite is Grappa’s. Their Insalata Sara is ♥♥♥ .
3. What are your top five favorite songs? Brighter than Sunshine by Aqualung. Best in Me by Blue. Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning from Sleepless in Seattle. Fields of Gold – Sting’s version.
4. If you are going to choose a country to travel in Asia, which country will you go to? Thailand. I’m going there in a few weeks for vacation! Yahooooo! I love Bangkok. The people are very friendly, the culture very rich and palpable in the city, the shopping is great, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Of all the Asian countries I’ve been to, I felt most at home in Thailand. Maybe it was also because I was mistaken for being Thai several times.
5. If you’ll be stuck in an island for a day, what gadget would you like to have with you? One only. A compass? If I did have a cell phone, there’d be no place to charge it. Same with a laptop. A hi-tech compass would be great. I’d have to learn how to use one first though.
Interview rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Oh, I love that song, In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning. In fact, I have the soundtrack. Sleepless in Seattle is one of my old time favorite movies. It brings so many happy memories.
I’d love to bring my son to Disneyland HK. Maybe when he is a little older so that travelling will be easier.

I love Fields of Gold too – both versions of Sting and Eva Cassidy.
I haven’t eaten at Grappa’s though I pass by it everyday on the way to and from the kids’ school. Matry nga ang insalata.

hi, i can relate to your love of Bangkok, for more than 5 years, that place used to be my playground, too – i love the rich culture and tradition, the spicy food, the bargains, the craziness of the nightlife, the tuktuks, the transvestites who’s looks can rival the prettiest of them all
i can go on and on — enjoy your vacation!
