Happy thoughts naman muna. Ayoko na’ng mandilim ang paningin ko, hehe. No to negativity dapat diba? Breathe in, breathe out. The power of blogging manifested itself in how that entry quickly reached the head of Globe’s customer service and how my request is being acted on. BUT let’s park that first. Let me tell you now about the other great power of blogging — the wonderful friendships that are nurtured.
Last night, I met up with several Blogging Berks (from left to right):

These people are no longer just bloggers to me. They are my dear friends and my family online. Last night was more than just an EB. It was an intimate dinner with wonderful people close to my heart.
We met for dinner at Mannang’s, a restaurant that served Filipino dishes. Their Sinigang na Corned Beef was so delicious! That was the most memorable dish of the night. Food or no food though, the stories went rond and round and so did the laughter. This was my first time to meet Watson in person. He’s such a jolly fellow and wonderful to talk to. We also discovered our offices are pretty near each other. A-ha! After dinner, we all trooped to Starbucks for coffee and tea. I met Apol for the first time last night, too. He’s an intense man, one who looks like he’s always brewing with ideas.
If I were to associate one word for each Berk I met last night, it would be the following: Tito Rolly – Clown. Apol – Intense. Lara – Quirky. Mari – Model. Ajay – Diva. Dr. Emer – Fatherly. Nick – Jolly.
I highly enjoyed the evening and am looking forward to our next get-together. We are planning one for July because
Sachiko’s coming for a visit. Yey! More happy thoughts coming my way. I’m excited!
