Favorite Posts of 2006
This word captures my year best: introspective.
It has been a year of tumultous thoughts and emotions, a year of movement, of contemplation. There were significantly less recipes learned and household tips shared. The truth is 2006 was a tough year for me, but one that was nevertheless beautiful. I learned that no matter how rough life can get, these three F’s will help you through: Family, Friends and Faith.
Next year will again be about movement, as it should be. What is life if it doesn’t continually evolve after all! There will be more places to go to and more people to meet. There will be more experiences to relish. I am very happy 2006 is coming to a close, and I am embracing what 2007 has to offer!
As my last entry for 2006, I am sharing with you my favorite Wifely Steps posts of the year. Thank you for being such wonderful blogging companions! I hope to continue building and strengthening our community through 2007.

i enjoyed every step with wifely…its been more than 3 yrs now and choosing the best entries is hard for me as it is harder for you (just like choosing your favorite kid from among your children)….but definitely every post has been inspiring and fun filled.

honestly, mare. i have learned a lot from you about being a wife. it is about pleasing ourselves…then pleasing our man. (longevity, dahlin. right? hahahaha) your posts are a breathe of fresh air to the blogsphere and i hope that people would see that there really is joy in life’s simple things. you have captured that, my dear.
whatever tough times you have had this year, i know you have handled it with grace. you have maintained your charm and sweet personality. and that’s something which not everyone can do.
