Peekaboo!

Dresser

I don’t have a dresser. Our closet has a couple of shelves and a mirror that I use to store my toiletries and other kikay stuff. Here’s a peek into one of the shelves. There’s my body lotion, some stuff from the derma, some creams, my collection of beads and accessories, my hairdryer, my powder, my glasses, etc. Those are my everyday essentials.

Not so healthy insides

I took that as is! No more fiddling around. As much a I would have liked to stock it up with healthy fare, that wouldn’t be honest. Haha! So there you have it. There are lots of chocolates. Yum. My sister just came home from the States and she got Dennis and myself Twinkies, See’s, and my bilin Trader Joe Truffles!!! So kamusta daw naman ang ref! Puro matatamis!

Oh well...

That’s our shoe cabinet. I am guilty with stocking too many of my own shoes in it. The result is H’s shoes spilling over. Eek. It doesn’t really look that cluttered in real life, but just looking at this pic gives me a headache.

I’d love to keep my home spick and span. However, I don’t always have the time nor the energy! To hlep ease the clutter though, here’s a technique I got from The Flylady. Before going to bed, grab a trash bag and go around your home. Gather 27 items that are cluttering the space and throw each one into the bag. Try it! It may be hard to let go of things but believe me, waking up to a decluttered space will do you good. Read the rest of The Flylady’s decluttering tips!

i’m starting to enjoy these mementos of yours… can I copy your idea? it is very interesting and nice knowing you a little more.

    Thank you for sharing!

I agree with Jo. I’m excited to check in everyday and see the new photos you’ve posted. This is such a great idea.

I’m guilty of the same thing. We have a shoe cabinet inside the master’s bedroom. On the first few months of our marriage, the shelves of the shoe cabinet were equally divided between me and my husband. But after a few more months, he noticed that I have monopolized majority of the shelves. It wasn’t a big deal for him but I decided to buy a four layered shoe rack just for him. That meant all the shelves of the shoe cabinet were all mine. *wink*

    I like what’s inside your ref. :-)

Thanks for featuring my request. I like those miniature drawers for your trinkets. I also don’t have a dresser at home. I put my stuff on our bathroom countertop.

Hi! Thanks for showing your ref. That’s pretty much how our ref looks like too, right now. Got to hit the grocery soon. By the way, I like how you placed all your lotions and creams on a platter. I just might copy that.

So neat naman your dresser/cabinet. Obvious na medyo OC ka. LOL

Happy Holidays Toni. Got the xmas e-card by the way.
