Hi Husby!
Can I just say that I love my husband very much?
He always makes sure I’m well-fed even if I say I’m watching my diet. He makes me laugh when I’m in the sourest of moods, teaching me not to be too high-strung. He pampers me like a little princess and puts up with my mood swings. He cooks me my favorite comfort food when he knows I need it. He makes me a cup of hot tea even without my asking. He asks me to join him in playing PS2 so we do tandem games (like Star Wars Lego — we play it together). He listens to me when I won’t stop talking. He doesn’t permit me to lose my childlike wonder.
He’s my rock, my guardian, my best friend.
We may not have much Husbo but we sure have a lot of love. I wouldn’t exchange that for anything else.
There. I just want to declare my love for him.

[...] I just read my dear friend Toni’s entry about her love for her husband. Now I know that the previous entry I wrote did just that but not in so many words but I wanted to say that in every relationship, nothing’s perfect. Despite being together for 10+ years I still lack in so many ways. Now that we’re adults, meaning we’re not in high school or college anymore, we forget to stop and smell the roses. Instead of doing spontaneous things we go into a routine. We both work full time and we come home tired and we do our usual things. Sometimes we go to the gym (if we’re not tired) but most of the time I watch TV, read a book and the hubby goes and plays his video games. I know, not the most romantic right? I guess it comes in the territory when you’ve been together for awhile that you forget what you used to do. [...]

Oh Toni, what a lovely and loving post. You are a very lucky woman, ah, but, he is a very lucky man - which, yes, make you a very lucky couple. Thank you for making me smile. I am headed to a wedding later today and as I look at the new moments of a marriage I will indeed think of how glorious true love is. so yes, I will also think of you and your husband.
