Reveal Yourself!

It’s de-lurking today at Wifely Steps. If you’re reading this entry, you are obliged to reveal yourself! Yeah! C’mon, this is just a game.
Let’s have a little fun. I’d like to get to know the folks who are reading this blog at this very moment.
All you have to do is wave hello and tell me who you are. It’d be great if you told me a little bit more about yourself too. That’s ultra fine with me. I love a good conversation. Anything but spam is welcome.
So… hello there! Caught you looking! May I know who you are?
August 31st, 2006 at 12:41 am
Hi! Caught red handed. ha! ha! So here goes …
I’m Rachel. I stumbled upon your blog recently and found your posts very interesting. I’m fairly new in blogging but I realized how fun and self-rewarding it is to have an online journal.

Hi!
August 31st, 2006 at 1:27 am
Hi — Just got here randomly — (clicked on a link on someone’s blog by accident) and you caught me — nice blog though! I am a 36 yr-old guy living in Atlanta, just surfing the web.
August 31st, 2006 at 1:49 am
you got me Toni.
I’m doing this at work , so if somebody else ,outside of yourself catches me , an embarassing moment might ensue and the worst case scenario is…
you know me as bh but my real name is A_____. You know what my name is.
I’m doing this with trepidation because I’m a very private person and if I’m one of the seven dwarfs I’d be Bashful, but here goes:
I’m a male and single, make that divorced. I had been married once and I don’t know if I wanna try that again.
I live in the Rogue Valley which is located at the southern end of Oregon, USA. I live in the city of Medford and work in Ashland which is about 15 miles to the south. Actually, I have a part time job and I work in both towns. I work as a Medical Technologist ( in some states like California, it is called Clinical Laboratory Scientist) in Ashland and as an architect in Medford and I am on the throes of schizophrenia.
I do have my degrees in both field and have student loan as big as the national debt to prove it.
( The above information is more than enough to let some people know without a doubt who the author is. There is only one hospital in Ashland)
I like the Valley of the Rogue but some things are beginning to wear on me and I am thinking of moving back to California or to Las Vegas some time in the fall or early spring. Nobody knows about this and if somebody from the hospital happens to come across this, it might cause a stir as we have a shortage of people in our profession in general and at the hospital in particular.
I like to read and listen to music, live or memorex. (that’s a pun)
I’m reading SIDEWAYS now and I just bought 2 books from Barnes & Noble last night- O. Henry Awards 2005 and The Best Essays of the Century.
We’re attending the CHICAGO concert at the Britt tonight, which reminds me – I have to get out of here early. ( And I’ve spent a good part of the morning typing this. Talk about productivity. I wish I had taken Miss Nebrida’s Typing Class in high school.)
Art- I think that’s a requisite of the job.
I like to travel but lately I haven’t had the time or wherewithal. But I’m driving to Canada one more time before the cold comes.
you’re probably tired or reading this so I’ll cut it short.
So long , Toni.

Hello, Toni!
August 31st, 2006 at 5:35 am
hi Toni,
I find myself reading your blogs almost weekly. I am a 28 y/o full time mom of a 3 y/o and a 6 mo. old. My life has evolved with my children and husband and I am just loving the time I spend with my children. I appreciate your blogs because it reminds me of my childhood in the Philippines. I especially adore your dining adventures. I am an aspiring cook too, but I find myself cooking mostly Western cuisine since my husband hardly likes Pinoy dishes. My son M loves my beef tapa. Its as regular as mash potatoes and gravy on our dining table. Thanks! =P

(waves at toni like a kid)
hello, toni! my name is Jerome and the phrase “my life is an open book” is a mega-understatement because, as Vilma’s character in “Palimos ng Pag-ibig” said, “para kang karinderyang bukas sa lahat ng gustong kumain…” O, di ba??? that line is me. i love telling stories, i love my life, that’s why i share it to everyone. i am a movie addict, self-proclaimed film afficionado. I am so good that I amaze my friends by guessing the title of films by only having a glimpse of a frame of the film. I am 32 years old, but most of the time I pay student’s rate in public transportation (naks!). Thank you for saying that I am beautiful. I have to agree with you. I am beautiful inside and out. But I also have a dark side. No, I don’t have dead bodies buried in our backyard or body parts stored in jars. No, no, no. I dispose of them somewhere else. hahahahaha! Evidenced by pagtataray and impatience, once in a while the sleeping dragon just keeps on waking up.
August 31st, 2006 at 7:18 pm

Hi. I am not a blogger but I do enjoy reading, lurking, visiting some of my favorite blog sites.
I am a grandmother in my 60’s, have three grown children who are all married and have three grand daughters. Two are adopted and one is biological. I travel to see my grand daughters or for leisure.
I am a retired federal employee. I would still be working today had it not been for that tragic event that happened on 9/11. Most of my officemates/friends perished at the Pentagon. I was spared that day,
I did not go to work. I do miss them a lot.
Nowadays, I occasionaly volunteer at the neighborhood library, watch the magazine shows or some good documentaries and read books and of course surf the internet.
Keep up your blog, I enjoy reading it.
September 1st, 2006 at 9:08 am
hiyeee toni! sarah here ^_____^
September 1st, 2006 at 9:48 am
You know me. Here are some more info about me though.
I’m a simple girl who used to be too naive for her own good. I believe in love and in happy endings no matter how many times I have gotten my heart broken, stepped on, spat on, and crushed. I’m a model but I have a brain that functions quite well, thank you very much. I am very opionated and have a scathing remark for people who do not know how to respect opinions. I am witty which at times border on the sarcastic side. I am funny, too funny at times that I almost always lose whatever poise I have gathered at the moment. I am a daughter, a friend and a lover. I love my family, am very loyal to my friends and when I love, I love with abandon and with all of my heart. I do not hold back. I am vengeful. I try to keep that in check but at times, I let it go, especially if the person deserves it. I am a bookworm. I am a collector. I collect friends, I collect cards which have inspirational thoughts, I collect letters and cards given to me, I colelct pillows and I collect memories. I am me.
September 1st, 2006 at 9:49 am
you know me! =)

Hi Toni. My name is Tintin, and I’m a friend of Anj’s. Like Anj, I’m from JVP, and I found your blog through a link provided in my good friend’s lightheaded.blogspot.com. I’ve been visiting your site for some months now… I was initially interested in what you have to say about married life, but now I just keep coming back for anything you write na. I’ve been married for a little over a year now, and as you say, married life is like one long slumber party.
Oh… and I’m from SHS too! A batch or two ahead of you, I guess, since Anj is younger than me by one.
Keep writing!!!
And thanks for sharing with us your life.
