Cupcake Celebration

Instead of the usual cake for celebrations, why not bake cupcakes and present them in this pretty pretty way? My sister P prepared this for our other sister’s graduation party last year. P baked chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and strawberry cupcakes with vanilla frosting (not too sure about that though). In the second picture, each cupcake holds a letter formed by candy confetti. Put ‘em together and they spell “Congratulations”! Her baked goodies were a refreshing change from cakes we usually get from the bakery — refreshing on the eye and the palate. It was also convenient for each guest to pop a cupcake onto their dessert plate and head towards the next dish. So, do I hear cupcakes for your next party? Let’s celebrate with cupcakes!

The best thing about serving cupcakes? You won’t feel icky with this huge piece! I make the minis, kids love it and the adults fool themselves into thinking they ate “just the small one” haha.
