Story time and Creativity

The guy on the right… what’s his story?
~*~*~*~*~*~
Now about creativity…
Stories are a great way to exercise your creativity and imagination. Kick off your weekend by letting those creative juices flow! I’ve compiled some links you may want to check out. They are either caption games or story-telling games. Both are fantastic ways to channel those creative energies so get started on them now!
Jerome’s Perception Exercise. He shows you pictures of people. Tell him their stories.
Joey’s “What’s he thinking?”. A little kid in a yellow jacket props his feet up on a bus. What’s on his mind?
Ganns asks you to give his son Nathan’s picture a caption. Let’s see if Nathan will fill in his father’s shoes…
Michele’s Caption Contest. Get an imaginary trophy if you win! It’s her 56th one so you may want to go through her archives to check out the past contests.
And there’s a lot more on your search engine of choice. Remember, creativity isn’t solely defined by how well you draw or how beautiful your poem is. Creativity is your ability to invent, to express yourself in an original way, to know the power of your imagination, to spot the potential in the most boring of things and to find solutions from various perspectives. Whew. That’s a lot of definitions. But if I could sum it all up, it’s just this:
Creativity is exploding the power of your imagination.
We are all creative. We just explode in different ways!
Happy weekend!
