What’s their story?

~*~*~*~*~

It’s been a long week but a great one. Work was heavy but very much worth it — thank you to my teammates, you know I love ya! I got a cozy new look for my blog, thank you Kala! I have cute new kikay trinkets, thank you Andrea — I will post about these next week! I posted one of my favorite poems, Gabi, thank you Blogkadahan and special thanks to this theme’s moderator Dr. Emer! I got a relaxing Xiamen-style foot massage last night, thank you Feet For Us — I will write about this soon too!

I’m going somewhere magical this weekend. Hint. It’s got a wizard for a mascot and he wears a starry purple robe.

Happy weekend everyone!

  2. Paparazzi Says:

After rounds of beer light, the barkada got their bill and to their surprise, they were charged a whoofing P2,500.00 for some beers in can and a simple ‘pulutan’. Problem is they only have a total cash of P1,700.00 from their pockets.

Now, one member of the group volunteered to just leave his old Tissot watch as guarantee they will be back after three hours for its full payment. :)

You will be just one ride away from where I live, pangga! Enjoy. Havent been there in 5 years. I would expect pictures. Hey, toni. I’ve been amazed as to how similar we think about observing people and what stories they can tell. You just gave me a push to launch this idea about a blog concept. It’s gonna be called ORDINARY PEOPLE (tagline: because each of us has a story that can inspire others…). Have a great weekend!

  9. Toni Says:

Jerome: Yes, I will take lots of pictures. I haven’t been there in about 2-3 years now. Good luck with the new blog. I can’t wait to read it!

  10. jey Says:

they’re calculating the amount of calories in their beer, if it meets (or exceeds) the RDA. hehe.

  11. Toni Says:

jey: Hahahaha yeah! Or they’re cooking up a plan to see how they can approach a group of girls across the bar. Happy weekend!

  14. iska Says:

I hope those guys won’t be reading this story my hubby made up….
He said those 2 guys on the right are pimps and the guys on the left are checking the list of the girls – vital stats, fone numbers, webbies where they can find pictures, etc…

  15. Toni Says:

    iska: LOL! Funny!

  16. sha Says:

my idea is like iska;s hahha

  17. pinayhekmi Says:

The accounting genius in the group is nitpicking the bill. (What! How can they charge this much for peanuts?! Okay, we only ordered 15 beers, not 17) while the other can barely restrain their impatience. (Tol! Bayad na tayo, ok lang yon! Cute naman yung waitress eh.)

  18. JMom Says:

I like the new look, Toni! Have a happy weekend too. Can’t wait to hear all about that purple caped wizard when you come back ;-)

    THEIR STORY:
Guy on the right, wearing black shirt is an outsider siddling up to the group. Pa simple lang siya, but he wants to be in the barkada too. The three guys on the left are divvying up the bill, while the bud in the blue checkered shirt is hoping they’d forget he drank two beers.

  19. cialis-al Says:

    bytiful post

  20. mare Says:

The boys are looking at a list of who will be married off next. The two men on the left, “we’re not on the list huh?”

    Have a good weekend Toni!

  21. eye Says:

uy, galing kang EK! pictures! pictures! ;-)

A long ,long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, four men formed a band called ‘A Band of Brothers’. This is the story of their (in)auspicious beginning.More specifically, their first gig.

I realize that I’m late in submitting this and that you probably will not revisit these comments but that’s the story of my life…the last thing I’ll do is probably be late for my own funeral.

Enough digression. Let’s go back to the story.

    Characters in the story:
    ManA
    ManB
    ManC
    ManD
Just because that’s how people were named in that far, far away Galaxy.

ManA: Are you sure we’re at the right place? They don’t know us here.
ManB: I’m positive! This is 625 Arellano Ave.
ManA: But we need to be at 625 A. Relleno Ave. Like 2 hours ago!
ManB: (Feebly) Well…Maybe it’s time to get a secretary who can spell.
    ManA: You wrote that thing.
ManC: I suddenly lost my stage fright.
ManD:That’s because you just lost your stage.
