Truth in advertising naman dyan!
H: “Okay sa’n mo gusto mag-breakfast?”
Me: “McDonald’s! Yum!”
Vroom vroom. Dating sa McDo drive-thru.
Me: “Hon, may mga Mega meals sila o! Parang masarap!”
H: “Alin dito kukunin natin?”
Me: “Mega C nalang! Mas marami. Tapos tingnan mo yun franks. Yum! Kakagutom. Game game, excited na ako.”
Order. Giddy dahil super craving for those franks. Bayad. Vroom vroom to claim the meals. Punta sa bahay. Park. Takbo sa mesa. Buksan ang styro dahil sobrang gutom.
Hikbi.
Hikbi ng dalawang beses.
Size does matter.
Needless to say, nakakabitin ng over ang almusal namin. Sana nag-Jollibee nalang kami.

i know that feeling. super excited ka kainin yung food kasi ganda niya sa pix. bigla pagdating sa iyo, ngek! ang layo! hahaha! kaya nga daw may food stylist di ba pag nag-photo shoot ng food. para ma-engganyo ko to buy & hope na katulad na katulad nun ang food. hihihi!

hay sis…ang mga ads nila exagg pero pag nakuha mo na yung meal…iba na itsura.
side kwento: one time, I ordered sa chowking…sabi ko dun sa casher na nagbigay nun food na order ko…”miss baket magka iba yung beef noodles ko sa pic (pointing sa ad nila) malaki yung slices ng beef at ang dami pa dito sa akin ang liit at 3 pcs lang….he he he. wala lang nang asara lang sa kanila, he he he.

Mukhang sunog pa yung longganisa. Truth in advertising does NOT work here. It only works in paper.

i have the opposite experience naman dito. dito, parang ang liit ng food sa pic, pero once the order arrives, pwede pala magpakain ng buong barangay
in a way, parang mirror siya ng societies na kinabibilangan natin no? sa pinas, pinalalaki nila expectations natin kaya pagdating ng totoo, we end up feeling shortchanged. dito naman, the real thing is made to overwhelm so we end up with greater expectations that generate (oftentimes, false) pride. unless ma-address ang mga incongruencies na ito, i don’t know how society in general will positively benefit. naks, nang dahil lang sa longganisa namilosopo na, haha. 
penge na lang niyan, pwede na rin yan laman tiyan
