Salamat!
Thank you for all the birthday greetings! Your comments, text messages, e-cards, e-mail, phone calls… all of them really touched my heart. Maraming maraming maraming salamat.
I just came from a mini-vacation. I didn’t go to work for 3 days (yey!). My brain needed to be decluttered and my body needed to REST. We didn’t go anywhere far away at all, just stayed in the city and visited my family for a couple of days. And I played Sims 2 on my sister’s computer. Gosh did I miss that game. I’m back at work now, much to my disappointment. I look forward to a REAL vacation later this year. (Real = Far away from Manila).
Oh, one highlight of my little vacation: I cooked Adobo for the first time. It was pretty good at first but since I wasn’t able to watch over the simmering pot consistently, the sauce kept drying out! I like my adobo saucy. I had to adjust continuously until… the adobo tasted more like paksiw. Too much vinegar! Hahaha. Oh well, I’ll try a better adobo recipe next time and watch the pot more closely.
I will share my birthday stories soon. I will also answer all the tags and memes soon! Can’t wait for that.
Once again, thanks for all the greetings and the prayers!
