If it’s possible, do maintain healthy relationships with your officemates. Great camaraderie with your colleagues helps lessen stress and hey, you gain great friends along the way.

I’ve been blessed to have found fantastic friends where I work. Advertising bonds people in weird ways. Maybe because we’re all weird. Yeah, I think that’s it. Or maybe it’s all the OT’s (overtime) we spend with each other. Or it’s just a mesh of the creative passion that bonds us. Yeah, that seems like a good reason too.

Whatever field you’re in, it’s a bonus to find a friend in your officemate. Just as long as you’re able to draw the line between friendship and professionalism, you’re going to be alright.
